To test the wedding menu, they meet with a friend couple at a restaurant. After a lot of alcohol has been poured, the four fall into the idea of telling each other the worst things they have ever done. Emma's revelation shakes things profoundly – and especially makes Charlie seriously doubt the image of the perfect woman by his side. Director Kristoffer Borgli (SICK OF MYSELF; DREAM SCENARIO) initially takes up the patterns of a classic rom-com and then cleverly dismantles them in a mix of drama and darkly humorous satire that tells how expectations and reality diverge. In the end, Borgli's brilliant experimental arrangement revolves around the question of how much truth love can bear or how much lie is necessary for its success.
