Digital Art: Discovering Pop Art and Street Art on the iPad
During the autumn holidays, the Gelsenkirchen Art School transforms digital ideas into colorful artworks. Children aged 10 and up will learn how to turn their own drawings, images, and design ideas into creative stickers or GIFs for smartphones and social media.
Getting Creative with Procreate
Using the Procreate app, participants will explore the basics of digital drawing, painting, and designing in a child-friendly manner. Pop Art and Street Art combine with modern media education. Children will develop their own image ideas, experiment with colors and shapes, and see how a first draft grows into a digital artwork.
Own iPad or Loaner Device
Participants can bring their own iPad. Alternatively, the art school provides a device. This gives children the opportunity to start exploring digital art independently of the technical equipment at home.
