I am currently attending a German course taught by Mr. 𝗦𝗘𝗕𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗠𝗔𝗜 and would like to describe my experiences in detail. Unfortunately, I am very dissatisfied with the quality of the instruction. From the very beginning, I felt that the lessons were not clearly structured and that Mr. Mai explained the material too quickly. For people who are just learning German, it is important that content is presented in an understandable, gradual, and comprehensible way. Instead, much is rushed through. When I ask questions, they are hardly addressed. On several occasions, I experienced Mr. Mai either ignoring my questions or not even wanting to listen to them. This makes it very difficult for me to follow the lessons and develop an understanding. I chose this course because I genuinely want to learn German. However, when important explanations are missing and questions are not answered, you feel abandoned as a learner. Unfortunately, I also get the impression that Mr. Mai shows little motivation and conducts his lessons rather listlessly. This has a negative impact on the entire learning atmosphere. Many of my classmates feel the same way. Although only a few dare to voice criticism openly, the general dissatisfaction in the class is clearly palpable. Many have given up actively participating because they feel it's pointless anyway. As a result, hardly anyone in this course is actually learning anything. Another major problem is Mr. Mai's handwriting on the board. It's extremely difficult to read because the letters are connected and sometimes look like an unclear signature. This is an additional obstacle for students who rely on written examples. Overall, I'm very disappointed. I feel that this course isn't providing me with what I need to make progress. For these reasons, I've decided to change schools. I don't want to spend my time in a class where I learn almost nothing and don't feel supported. I unfortunately cannot recommend this course.

If you think that the qualification you get here will allow you to achieve anything, then I have to disappoint you. You won't be able to achieve anything with this qualification. You'll only get your certificate there, but you won't learn anything because the teachers are simply there reluctantly and don't really want to teach anything. They're just there to pass the time and collect a bit of pension money. If you really want to get your qualification, then go to the VHS in Essen.

There are several reasons to graduate here. 1. The teachers are fantastic. They are all extremely friendly, competent, and helpful. Everyone is happy to take the time for you. 2. It's great to have multicultural classes. This way, you not only learn the academic subjects but also a lot about other cultures, religions, and countries. 3. The school administration is the best I've ever had in my career. Ms. Albertovskaya runs this challenging school exceptionally well, and with such enthusiasm, even after all these years. We couldn't imagine a better course coordinator than Mr. Kostros. No matter what the issue is, you can always go to him. My classmates and I will miss this wonderful time we've had here at the school.

The school system is very strange, with a timetable from 8:30 to 11:30, breaks, and teachers who barely teach anything. Achieving anything with this qualification is very difficult, if not impossible, so I'm now going to a different adult education center (VHS) with a much better timetable and teachers. Honestly, if you only need a qualification to do odd jobs or retrain as a caregiver, then the Gelsenkirchen VHS is the best place for you. You can only achieve that kind of thing with this qualification, sorry. Anyone wanting to do a dual vocational training program should choose a different adult education center.

If you want to get your degree, you'd better look for another adult education center. Because they're very far removed from education and only exist to siphon off money from the city.
