Kita Talentzwerge | Contact & Directions
The Kita Talentzwerge in Gelsenkirchen-Ückendorf is much more than just a place for care: it is a municipal day care center for children and at the same time a family center that is firmly anchored in the district. Those looking for the Kita Talentzwerge Gelsenkirchen will find a modern facility on Bochumer Straße, with clear orientation for parents, good public transport connections, and a concept that practically supports the daily lives of families. The location was opened as a new building in 2022, expands the care offerings in the neighborhood, and connects early education with family work and community. Particularly noticeable is the location in the vicinity of Ückendorf, as the facility is located directly on Bochumer Straße, next to the new event hall Heilig Kreuz, making it easily identifiable in the urban landscape. For parents searching for Kita Talentzwerge photos, Kita Talent, or Kindergarten Talentzwerge, the official presence is the first reliable entry point, as it compiles the most important information in a compact and up-to-date manner. ([gekita.de](https://gekita.de/tageseinrichtungen/standorte/bochumer-strasse-talentzwerge/kontakt))
Directions and Contact on Bochumer Straße
The official contact page of the facility states the full address Bochumer Straße 119, 45886 Gelsenkirchen. This includes a clear telephone and fax number as well as the director Anja van der Mee as the contact person. This transparency is important, especially for families who need reliable orientation quickly: the location is not hidden somewhere in the neighborhood, but is located directly on Bochumer Straße. The main entrance is located at the back of the building, and the way there is also described. Those arriving on foot can walk past the building on the left and reach the entrance that way. The official page also emphasizes that the Kita is located directly next to the new event hall Heilig Kreuz and that one can reach the entrance via the church square. This is a practical everyday advantage, as new families or visitors can find the facility more easily. ([gekita.de](https://gekita.de/tageseinrichtungen/standorte/bochumer-strasse-talentzwerge/kontakt))
The public transport connections are also well documented. Parents can reach the Carl-Mosters Straße bus stop with bus 385; from there it is about a four-minute walk. With tram 302, one gets off at the Stephanstraße stop and needs about three minutes on foot. This short distance is a real advantage in everyday life, especially for parents with younger children, strollers, or multiple siblings. The central location in Ückendorf also means that the Kita is located in a district that is well connected to the public transport network. Those arriving by car should follow Bochumer Straße according to the official page. The facility is located directly on this street, making the journey easy to follow. It is also practical that the location is perceived not only as a place of care but also as a well-accessible address in the neighborhood. For search queries related to Talentzwerge contact, Talentzwerge directions, or Bochumer Straße 119, the GeKita page provides exactly the information that parents need in the first step. ([gekita.de](https://gekita.de/tageseinrichtungen/standorte/bochumer-strasse-talentzwerge/kontakt))
Especially in a Kita, the first impression plays a significant role. Therefore, the contact details are not just dry data but an important signal for reliability and accessibility. Those who want to inform themselves about the registration process will also find a direct link to the registration portal on the official GeKita navigation. This shows that the facility consciously keeps the path from initial interest to concrete contact simple. For families, this means: first check the location, then proceed by phone or through the GeKita structure. This creates a clear and trustworthy entry point that is particularly helpful when searching for a Kita. ([gekita.de](https://gekita.de/tageseinrichtungen/standorte/bochumer-strasse-talentzwerge/kontakt))
Care, Groups, and Care Places
A central search term related to the Kita Talentzwerge is the question about the groups and age structure. The location page answers this very specifically: On the ground floor is the ladybug group, where children from 4 months to 3 years are cared for. On the first floor, there are three more groups, the caterpillar and butterfly group for children from two years until they start school, as well as the frog group for children from three years until they start school. This clearly shows that the facility accompanies various stages of development and includes both very young children and preschoolers. For parents, this is an important argument because the Kita not only offers a place but also brings together age groups with appropriate educational frameworks. ([gekita.de](https://gekita.de/tageseinrichtungen/standorte/bochumer-strasse-talentzwerge/wir-ueber-uns))
The city of Gelsenkirchen also describes the new building with an expanded capacity: A total of 75 care places are available, including 22 places for children under three years. In autumn 2022, the facility was officially presented as a four-group day care center after it had previously moved into the new building on Bochumer Straße in May 2022. This was a response by the city to the demand in the Ückendorf district and the expansion of places for under-threes. This combination of new construction, more groups, and additional U3 capacity makes the Kita Talentzwerge particularly relevant for search queries regarding care places, under 3 years Kita Gelsenkirchen, or groups Talentzwerge. ([gelsenkirchen.de](https://www.gelsenkirchen.de/de/_meta/aktuelles/artikel/54859-kita-talentzwerge-feiert-eroeffnung))
Additionally, an important educational aspect is that the facility works with individually designed group side rooms and a partially open concept. This means in everyday life that children can move within a structured framework according to their interests rather than staying in a static room. For parents, this is an indication that the location focuses on development, independence, and age-appropriate spaces. The city of Gelsenkirchen also emphasizes that the group rooms are equipped with side rooms and that group types I and II have their own sleeping rooms. This is particularly important for children under three years and for the daily routine with rest periods. Therefore, those searching for Kindergarten Talentzwerge or Kita Talentzwerge Gelsenkirchen will find an offer that is well tailored to families not only geographically but also content-wise. ([gekita.de](https://gekita.de/tageseinrichtungen/standorte/bochumer-strasse-talentzwerge/wir-ueber-uns))
Another plus point is the cultural diversity. According to the city of Gelsenkirchen, children from 17 nations are cared for in the Kita. This indicates an environment characterized by multilingualism, different family biographies, and an open educational attitude. Such conditions are not only pleasant for many families but also a quality feature because children come into contact with diversity at an early age. The facility started in the new building with 65 children and families and subsequently developed to its current capacity. This development shows how strong the demand in the district is and how consistently the Kita fulfills its role in the local care landscape. ([gekita.de](https://gekita.de/tageseinrichtungen/standorte/bochumer-strasse-talentzwerge/wir-ueber-uns))
Family Center, ZUSi, and Collaborations
The Kita Talentzwerge is not only a day care center but also a family center. This is a significant difference for parents, as it means that not only care but also counseling, support, and family offerings are associated with it. In the current list of GeKita family centers, the Kita Bochumer Straße (Talentzwerge) is explicitly listed, and the facility was successfully recertified in 2025. This makes it clear: the family center is not an additional label but a permanently anchored part of the location profile. For search queries like Talentzwerge family center or Kita Talentzwerge contact, this is an important orientation point. ([gekita.de](https://gekita.de/familienzentren/familienzentren/aktuelles?utm_source=openai))
The official GeKita report generally explains what family centers in Gelsenkirchen provide: they are meant to function as meeting places in the district, strengthen family education, counseling, and educational partnerships, and bundle offerings around family and work. The Kita Talentzwerge can also be placed within this framework. The facility offers space for a variety of family center offerings and for cooperation partners within the framework of the ZUSi project and talent promotion. According to the city of Gelsenkirchen, the large movement room and the multifunctional room on the ground floor are particularly suitable for this purpose. This shows that the architectural structure was consciously planned so that not only children's groups but also family offerings and collaborations are possible. ([gekita.de](https://gekita.de/fileadmin/documents/GeKita_Bericht_2023.pdf))
ZUSi stands for securing the future early and was an important project in Gelsenkirchen in the area of early childhood promotion. The Kita Talentzwerge has been mentioned several times in connection with this model project and described as a suitable place for information, exchange, and practical implementation. This is particularly relevant because the facility is located in a district where support for families is especially important. For parents, this means that they will find not only a care place at this location but also an environment focused on educational opportunities, social participation, and early promotion. The official city communication emphasizes this connection and describes the Kita as a building block to improve the supply situation in the neighborhood. ([gelsenkirchen.de](https://www.gelsenkirchen.de/de/_meta/aktuelles/artikel/54859-kita-talentzwerge-feiert-eroeffnung))
The networking in the neighborhood is also clearly addressed on the location page. The Kita collaborates with neighboring Kitas, primary schools, sports clubs, and family education centers. For families, this is a practical advantage because it shortens distances and facilitates transitions, for example, when moving to school or with additional offerings in the district. Family centers work particularly well when they are not isolated but are networked with the social environment. This principle is precisely what the GeKita page describes for Talentzwerge. This creates a location that not only offers care but also functions as part of a vibrant network in the neighborhood. ([gekita.de](https://gekita.de/tageseinrichtungen/standorte/bochumer-strasse-talentzwerge/wir-ueber-uns))
New Building, Rooms, and Partially Open Concept
The Kita Talentzwerge was opened as a new building in mid-May 2022. The city of Gelsenkirchen describes the opening a few months later as an important step for the neighborhood, as the move to the new building created two additional groups. The new building is spread over two levels and was designed by the city to meet the needs of the children and good educational work. This is more than just a construction detail: it shows that architecture and educational use were closely considered together. For parents looking for modern, well-structured rooms, this is a strong argument. ([gekita.de](https://gekita.de/tageseinrichtungen/standorte/bochumer-strasse-talentzwerge/wir-ueber-uns))
The room layout becomes particularly concrete in the opening report: all group rooms have a side room and separate sanitary facilities. The groups of group types I and II also have sleeping rooms. This equipment is extremely important for everyday life in the Kita because it supports rest, retreat, and clear processes. The Kita also offers a large movement room and a multifunctional room on the ground floor. Both are interesting for children's activities as well as for offerings from the family center. Additionally, there is a large open hallway that connects directly to the kitchen and is used as a communal dining area. This does not create an anonymous large-space atmosphere but rather a place for encounters and shared daily life. ([gelsenkirchen.de](https://www.gelsenkirchen.de/de/_meta/aktuelles/artikel/54859-kita-talentzwerge-feiert-eroeffnung))
The location page also describes the partially open concept. This means that children can pursue their interests and that the group side rooms are individually designed. For families, this is important information because it shows that the facility works not only by age but also according to developmental needs. The combination of protected group rooms, sleeping rooms, movement room, and multifunctional room makes the Kita flexible and practical for everyday life. Especially in a facility with children from four months, this mix of structure and openness is particularly sensible. The GeKita page also mentions the composition of the team, making it clear that the facility relies on educational continuity and additional support. ([gekita.de](https://gekita.de/tageseinrichtungen/standorte/bochumer-strasse-talentzwerge/wir-ueber-uns))
Another special feature of the new building is living under one roof. On the third and fourth floors, there are 10 barrier-free apartments. This brings the idea of young and old living under one roof not just as a catchphrase but as a real neighborhood constellation. For the district, this is a remarkable model because it combines child care, family life, and barrier-free living at one location. The official location page explicitly mentions this connection. This creates a building complex that goes far beyond the classic Kita and sets a strong urban and social signal. ([gekita.de](https://gekita.de/tageseinrichtungen/standorte/bochumer-strasse-talentzwerge/wir-ueber-uns))
Photos, Images, and First Online Impression
Those looking for Kita Talentzwerge photos usually want to know first how the facility looks and what atmosphere it conveys. The public GeKita pages provide a first impression because they incorporate image areas and visually accompany the essential location information. Additionally, the municipal opening article documents the inauguration with several captions, such as from the opening with a child during the ribbon-cutting or from play scenes in the new building. This is helpful because parents can already see online that it is a modern, bright, and newly designed location. ([gekita.de](https://gekita.de/tageseinrichtungen/standorte/bochumer-strasse-talentzwerge/kontakt))
Especially for search queries with the word photos, it is important to set realistic expectations. The official external presentation of the Kita Talentzwerge is informative, not spectacularly staged. This can even be an advantage for many parents because the focus is clearly on the facility, the rooms, and the care. The city of Gelsenkirchen describes the Kita as a new modern facility, and the GeKita pages complement this with a look at group structure, location, and daily life. Those wanting to see pictures thus receive a factual but reliable impression. Those needing additional impressions will find direct contact with the Kita as the most sensible next step. ([gelsenkirchen.de](https://www.gelsenkirchen.de/de/_meta/aktuelles/artikel/54859-kita-talentzwerge-feiert-eroeffnung))
From an SEO perspective, the term Kita Talentzwerge photos is still important because many parents start their first research path with images. However, the facility is not only visually present on the internet but also clearly described in content. This is crucial for building trust: instead of just beautiful photos, there are concrete statements about address, groups, capacity, family center, and accessibility. This creates a more complete online impression. For families who want an honest overview, this combination is often more valuable than pure image photography. ([gekita.de](https://gekita.de/tageseinrichtungen/standorte/bochumer-strasse-talentzwerge/kontakt))
Ückendorf, Science Park, and Neighborhood
The location in the Gelsenkirchen district of Ückendorf is another strong feature of the Kita Talentzwerge. The location page describes the surroundings as central and easily accessible. At the same time, it points out that there are various opportunities for walks nearby, including in the Science Park, as well as numerous playgrounds within walking distance. This is important for parents with small children, as the daily routine in the Kita is embedded in a child-friendly environment. Short distances to green spaces or play opportunities can facilitate the daily routine and enable additional activities. ([gekita.de](https://gekita.de/tageseinrichtungen/standorte/bochumer-strasse-talentzwerge/wir-ueber-uns))
The networking in the neighborhood is also a clear theme. According to its own description, the facility collaborates with neighboring Kitas, primary schools, sports clubs, and family education centers. Such contacts are practical for families because they simplify transitions and make offerings in the neighborhood visible. A Kita that opens up so clearly to the social environment does not appear as a closed institution but as an active part of the district. This also fits the role as a family center, where care and community work come together. ([gekita.de](https://gekita.de/tageseinrichtungen/standorte/bochumer-strasse-talentzwerge/wir-ueber-uns))
The immediate neighborhood is also architecturally interesting. The Kita is located directly on Bochumer Straße and next to the new event hall Heilig Kreuz. This makes the location well-placed and easily identifiable for many people in the vicinity. The combination of a modern Kita, event hall, and living above the facility makes the place a significant building block in the neighborhood. For parents looking for a well-connected, modern, and neighborhood-oriented care solution, this is a convincing framework. ([gekita.de](https://gekita.de/tageseinrichtungen/standorte/bochumer-strasse-talentzwerge/kontakt))
In summary, the Kita Talentzwerge in Gelsenkirchen shows how a new Kita location can function today: with a clear address, good accessibility, modern rooms, multiple age groups, and a genuine family center function. The facility connects early education, social networking, and practical everyday usability. That is why it is equally relevant for search queries related to Kita Talentzwerge Gelsenkirchen, Kindergarten Talentzwerge, Talentzwerge contact, Talentzwerge directions, and Kita Talentzwerge photos. Those interested in the location will find a solid foundation for further decision-making on the official GeKita page and in the municipal reporting. ([gekita.de](https://gekita.de/tageseinrichtungen/standorte/bochumer-strasse-talentzwerge/kontakt))
Registration, Orientation, and What Parents Should Know Practically
For the concrete use of the facility, it is especially important that GeKita links a direct path to registration on the official contact page. This makes it clear that the Kita Talentzwerge is integrated into the regular municipal processes and that parents can go through the registration path via the known GeKita structures. Those looking for Kita Talent or Talentzwerge contact should therefore not only note the address but also keep an eye on the official path through the registration portal and contact. The management of the facility is backed by a clearly named contact person, which further facilitates communication. ([gekita.de](https://gekita.de/tageseinrichtungen/standorte/bochumer-strasse-talentzwerge/kontakt))
Practically relevant is also that the facility was conceived from the beginning as a place for families. The opening report describes tours of the building, hands-on activities for children, and additional program points around the inauguration. This shows an open culture in which parents, children, and cooperation partners are welcome. For search queries with the term Kindergarten Talentzwerge, this is exactly the right framework: a location that not only provides care but also works with families and the district. ([gelsenkirchen.de](https://www.gelsenkirchen.de/de/_meta/aktuelles/artikel/54859-kita-talentzwerge-feiert-eroeffnung))
Those evaluating the Kita Talentzwerge should therefore consider three levels together: first, the accessibility on Bochumer Straße, second, the educational structure with four groups and a partially open concept, and third, the family center function with collaborations and offerings for the social environment. This combination makes the location interesting for many families. It is new, functional, well-networked, and tailored to the needs of small children and their parents. Thus, the Kita Talentzwerge meets the expectations that parents have of a modern urban facility today: reliable care, clear orientation, meaningful spaces, and an environment where family is taken into account.

This is particularly relevant because the facility is located in a district where support for families is especially important. For parents, this means that they will find not only a care place at this location but also an environment focused on educational opportunities, social participation, and early promotion.

We are truly very happy with this daycare. Our son attends the under-2s group, and his primary caregiver, Sinem, is very empathetic with him, which is reflected in his demeanor. Ms. Kneip, who is also an under-2s caregiver, is equally empathetic and attentive to the children's development. As parents, we feel very comfortable and secure. Communication between us and Ms. Kneip and Sinem is seamless and always very relaxed. The daycare facility is clean, and they also have a fantastic playground for children of all ages.
