Papermaking, Collaging, Stamping: Creative Paper Workshop at the Gelsenkirchen Art Museum

In the two-day weekend paper workshop at the Gelsenkirchen Art Museum, paper becomes a versatile material for personal artworks. Visitors will create, collage, and stamp in an inspiring museum atmosphere and experience a creative event with visible results.

From Fiber Pulp to Personal Paper

The paper workshop makes the production process directly experienceable: From a fiber pulp, individual paper sheets are created, which can then be further designed. Working with water, fibers, colors, and structures creates a calm yet concentrated event atmosphere.

Collages, Prints, and Personal Ideas

In collaging, colors, shapes, and different papers come together. Stamps add patterns, symbols, and rhythmic areas to the works. This results in personal creations that combine artisanal techniques with free design.

Art Education with a Practical Approach

The Gelsenkirchen Art Museum combines creative practice with cultural education in this event. The organization and event planning focus on hands-on experimentation rather than prior knowledge. The workshop is particularly suitable for people who want to experience art not just by observing but by engaging directly with materials.

A Weekend for Creative Discoveries

Between the museum, the workshop, and self-designed papers, a diverse audience atmosphere develops. The combination of papermaking, collaging, and stamping opens numerous opportunities for personal motifs and experimental results.

The Gelsenkirchen Art Museum invites you on Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM to a free paper workshop. Anyone interested in materials, colors, and personal design ideas will experience art that they can actively participate in.
