Music Painting in Gelsenkirchen: Sound Becomes Color

When music meets intuitive painting, a special event experience emerges for multiple generations. In the Art School Gelsenkirchen, the Music Painting course invites you to listen to different sounds, absorb impressions, and make them visible on paper.

Free Painting in Rhythm with Music

The music provides impulses, and the colors and forms emerge from one's own feelings. Without prescribed motifs, the course opens up space for imagination, spontaneous ideas, and personal expression. Thus, the event atmosphere transforms into a creative studio where everyone develops their own visual language.

Creatively Together Across Generations

The intergenerational course is aimed at young and older participants. Families, children with their grandparents, and curious art enthusiasts experience the audience atmosphere as open, playful, and inspiring. Those who own an instrument and sheet music are welcome to bring them along for free music-making, adding additional tones to the course.

Creativity as a Shared Event Experience

The combination of free music-making and free painting connects musical perception with artistic design. The focus of the event planning is not on performance or prior knowledge, but on the joy of experimenting, concentration on the moment, and meeting other creatives. The event management of the Art School provides a protected framework for cultural education.
