Living Time in Gelsenkirchen: Arrive, breathe, and experience living room culture

On Tuesday, October 27, 2026, the living room GE opens its doors for Living Time. From 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the open Tuesday invites you to come by, stay, breathe, and enjoy the evening in a warm atmosphere.

An open space for encounter and culture

Living Time stands for an uncomplicated cultural experience without a fixed program, registration, or obligations. Visitors discover the current exhibition, meet familiar faces, or get to know new people. This creates a special live atmosphere between neighborhood gathering, cultural venue, and creative living room.

Music, games, and relaxed moments

If you feel like musical encounters, grab a guitar or sit at the piano. Dice and cards invite to play together, while coffee, cool drinks, and the cozy couch provide space for conversations and relaxed breaks. The living room GE shows itself in its essence: open, warm, creative, and easygoing.

A cultural venue with its own character

The living room GE is a place for cultural workers and culture enthusiasts. In a cozy environment, culture is discussed and practiced, new things are created, and old things are deepened. Living Time brings this idea into a particularly low-threshold format: without a stage mandate, but with room for spontaneous encounters, acoustic discoveries, and shared experiences.

Conclusion: Just drop by and experience living room feeling

Living Time offers a relaxed Tuesday evening for everyone who wants to experience Gelsenkirchen creatively, accessibly, and without admission fees. Those who feel like exchange, exhibition, music, games, or just a good cup of coffee will find the right place in the living room GE. Admission is free.
