Drawing Workshop for Adults: Creative Lines in the Buer District Library
On Saturday, November 14, 2026, the Buer District Library in Linden-Karree will transform into an inspiring place for drawing, comics, and personal imagery. From 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, comic artist Roxane Kressin will guide adults through a two-hour drawing workshop in Gelsenkirchen.
Between Comics, Illustration, and Personal Image Ideas
The focus will be on practical drawing and the joy of visibly creating a figure or scene. Roxane Kressin works as a communication designer and illustrator with specializations in comic, cartoon, character design, and illustrative drawing. Her taught techniques include graphite, markers, fineliners, ink, brush pens, watercolor, and acrylic.
Creative Atmosphere in Linden-Karree
The Buer District Library provides a calm, focused setting for the event experience. Among books, working materials, and the open exchange among participants, a special event atmosphere emerges where observation, imagination, and craftsmanship learning come together.
Experience and Artistic Exchange
Roxane Kressin has been leading the drawing workshops in Buer since 2025 and was previously involved in their design. The workshop series has been a part of the library program for many years. The event management of the Gelsenkirchen District Library connects cultural education, target audience engagement, and practical art mediation to create an accessible format for adults.
