During the family experience Play, Move, Experience Nature: In the Greens, parents and children aged 3 to 7 will discover nature with all their senses. On Saturday, October 10, 2026, the forest area around the former lion park in Gelsenkirchen-Resse will become a versatile space for movement, play, and quality time together.

Listen, feel, smell, and marvel

The children will experience their surroundings attentively and in a child-friendly manner: sounds will be perceived, natural materials felt, and different scents discovered. This sensory learning experience strengthens curiosity, body awareness, and the connection to nature.

Playful Movement with the Family

Through shared group games, movement will fill the morning. Parents and children act as a team, trying things out and experiencing children's laughter, joy, and community. Free playtimes give the little participants space to develop their own ideas and explore the surroundings at their own pace.
