Get involved, explore and experience nature with all senses

During the family experience Environmental Scouts – Participation Activities on Nature and Environment, the neighborhood store Schalke transforms into a creative learning space. Children and families discover sustainable ideas, try out practical activities, and decide together which topics take center stage.

Sustainability becomes an exciting adventure

Design a planting bed, make natural peels or get creative with natural colors: The participation activities combine children's laughter, curiosity, and real learning experiences. Young participants experience the versatility of natural materials and how sustainable actions can be integrated into everyday life.

Personal ideas matter

Particularly family-friendly is the open participation culture. Participants jointly decide which activities will be implemented. Thus, an age-appropriate and child-friendly offer emerges that strengthens independence, creativity, and a sense of community. Children can contribute their own ideas, explore materials, and create something together with others.

Fun learning with practical value

The offer makes environmental education immediately tangible. When planting, mixing, and creating, perception, fine motor skills, and a sense of responsibility are addressed. The practical learning experience creates a comprehensible access to nature, resources, and sustainability – with joy, wonder, and plenty of room to try things out.
