Environmental Scouts: Discover Nature, Get Creative, and Create Together
On October 15, 2026, the neighborhood store Schalke will transform into an open meeting place for curious children and families. The free participation offer Environmental Scouts is all about nature, the environment, and sustainable ideas that become tangible in the neighborhood.
Participate Instead of Just Watching
The special aspect of the Environmental Scouts: The participants decide which actions will be implemented. This creates a varied family experience that combines personal ideas, joint planning, and practical learning. Children experience that their opinions matter and that environmental protection starts in everyday life with small steps.
From Plant Bed to Natural Colors
Depending on the group's interests, different participation activities will arise. Planned activities include designing a plant bed, making natural scrubs, and creative offerings with natural colors. In the process, children collect sensory experiences, observe materials from nature, and develop a playful understanding of sustainability.
Age-Appropriate Fun Learning for Families
The open format offers space for curiosity, children's laughter, and shared time. While planting, mixing, and creating, motor skills, creativity, and social development are addressed. The activities connect child-friendly learning experiences with a responsible view of nature and the environment.
Well Prepared for the Neighborhood
The event takes place in the premises of the neighborhood store Schalke and is organized by the Social Work St. Georg e.V. Prior contact with Alexander Libera is required for participation. Families receive important information in advance and can plan their visit safely and appropriately.
Conclusion: Together, Environmental Protection Becomes Tangible
The Environmental Scouts invite families to discover nature with all their senses and to bring their own ideas to life. Those who feel like engaging in creative environmental education, sustainable participation activities, and a lively learning experience will enjoy an afternoon full of curiosity, community, and practical impulses in the neighborhood store Schalke.
