Draw Along!: Creative Drawing Workshop for Children in Gelsenkirchen
Here, imaginative figures emerge from lines: In the workshop Draw Along!, children aged 10 and above explore the world of drawing together with comic artist Roxane Kressin. In the Buer district library, they can look forward to a creative family experience filled with curiosity, fun learning, and plenty of room for their own ideas.
Comic Drawing Made Easy
Roxane Kressin demonstrates how drawing can be achieved step by step. Children learn to observe carefully, develop shapes, and bring their own image ideas to life. The workshop combines child-friendly guidance with practical learning experiences and enhances concentration, imagination, and personal expression.
With Pencil, Imagination, and Children's Laughter
Whether a funny character, exciting scene, or own comic idea: Drawing creates visible success experiences. Every line becomes a starting point for something new. This fosters wonder, joy, and a creative atmosphere in which children can discover their abilities appropriately for their age.
Creative Development in a Safe Environment
The district library provides a suitable setting for collaborative design and focused work. The workshop is aimed at children aged 10 and above and promotes not only artistic skills but also self-confidence, persistence, and the joy of learning. The event is organized by the Gelsenkirchen City Library and the Friends of Gelsenkirchen City Library Association.
