With Solar Power to Your Own Racing Car
In the solar workshop, children and teenagers aged 8 and above will experience an exciting family event around renewable energy, technology, and creative building. In the community library Buer, a small solar car will be built from wooden parts, which will move with the power of the sun.
Building, tinkering, and marveling
With curious hands, the young participants will assemble their solar car. The solar panel provides the necessary energy for the small racing car to take off. In doing so, fun learning and joint experimentation are combined with a child-friendly introduction to sustainable energy.
Age-appropriate learning experience with a future
The workshop is aimed at children and teenagers aged 8 and above. Practical work promotes technical understanding, concentration, creativity, and independent problem-solving. The solar workshop makes renewable energies tangible in a vivid way and creates a motivating learning experience during the autumn holidays.
Shared holiday time in the library
Among wooden parts, solar panels, and small racing vehicles, a lively atmosphere full of curiosity and children's laughter is created. The joint building strengthens the sense of community and shows how an idea gradually becomes a functioning model. The cooperation with the Consumer Center NRW complements the workshop with an important reference to conscious energy use.
