Colorful Paper Autumn: Creative Holiday Fun for Children from 6 Years Old
When the leaves dance outside, the art school Gelsenkirchen becomes vividly colorful: In the holiday course Colorful Paper Autumn, children from six years old create a personal light catcher mobile for home. Using paper, acrylic paints, and imagination, a colorful family experience with children's laughter, fun learning, and plenty of room for their own ideas unfolds.
Shining Autumn Colors
At the beginning, the children paint large sheets of paper with colorful patterns and warm autumn colors. In this process, they playfully discover how colors work and harmonize together. The creative activity supports children's development, strengthens perception, and gives each child a visible sense of achievement.
Cutting, Gluing, and Creating
From the self-designed paper, foxes, leaves, and other autumn shapes emerge. Step by step, the motifs are cut out, glued, and connected to form a floating mobile. The age-appropriate design combines fine motor practice with independent work and promotes concentration, imagination, and joy in their own creations.
A Personal Light Catcher for Home
In the end, the children take home a very personal mobile. The finished artwork serves as a reminder of shared time, creative curiosity, and a special holiday day. The art school thus offers a child-friendly learning experience where practical activity, aesthetic education, and playful discovery come together.
