On Sunday, November 8, 2026, the neighborhood store Schalke will be the meeting point for young artists. The Art-Culture-Mobile of the Art School Gelsenkirchen brings a wide variety of materials directly into the neighborhood and invites children to make their own ideas visible.

Colors, Shapes, and Lots of Exploratory Joy

Whether colorful pictures, imaginative figures, or unusual material experiments: at the Art-Culture-Mobile, children can artistically try things out in a child-friendly manner and without pressure to perform. The focus is on curiosity, joy in creation, and the experience of creating something new with their own hands.

Creativity as a Valuable Learning Experience

The open offer supports age-appropriate aesthetic education. Children discover different materials, develop their own ideas, and experience that there are many good solutions in creative work. This learning experience strengthens self-confidence, concentration, and the joy of doing things together.

Open Family Experience in the Neighborhood

The Art-Culture-Mobile regularly travels to Gelsenkirchen's neighborhoods and creates an easily accessible art-learning place. No registration is required. Families can spontaneously drop by and spend time together. The event is particularly aimed at children and will take place outdoors around the neighborhood store if the weather is suitable.
