1001 Stories: Imaginative Reading Time in German and Turkish
On October 2, 2026, the children's library at the Gelsenkirchen Education Center will open its doors for a special reading hour. Children aged 5 to 12 will experience an imaginative story that is told once in Turkish and once in German. This creates a warm family experience full of children's laughter, curiosity, and shared time.
Two Languages, One Shared Story
When a story is told in two languages, children discover different sound worlds and experience language playfully. The German-Turkish reading series enhances attention, language understanding, and joy in listening. Children with and without Turkish language skills are welcome and can experience the story in a child-friendly way.
