Music Café in Gelsenkirchen: Young Talents Open the Doors to Music
On November 11, 2026, the teaching building of the Municipal Music School at Neustraße will transform into a vibrant meeting point for music enthusiasts. At the Music Café, students will showcase their skills in short concert contributions and provide insights into the musical work of the music school.
Short Concerts with Great Impact
The young musicians will be at the center of this special afternoon. In several short concerts, visitors will experience different musical contributions and an authentic live atmosphere where enthusiasm and personal development become audible.
Discover and Try Out Instruments
The Music Café combines concert and musical encounter. Various instruments will be introduced in the classrooms and can be tried out. This creates immediate access to music: observing, listening, testing for oneself, and getting to know the sound world of an instrument up close.
Experiencing Musical Education Up Close
The Municipal Music School Gelsenkirchen offers instrumental and vocal lessons, ensemble work, and musical basics. The Music Café makes this educational mission tangible and shows how lessons, practice, and shared stage performance create a multifaceted concert experience.
An Afternoon for Families and Music Fans
The event is aimed at anyone who wants to support young talents, discover new instruments, or enjoy the audience atmosphere of a family music afternoon. The open atmosphere especially provides children and young people with an inspiring entry into the world of active music-making.
